My name is Nikola Gavrilovic, so the name obviously isnt Australian, it comes from Serbia a developing nation located in Europe. I enjoy playing sport inparticular Football(Soccer) which I have played at Rep. levels.
This is my first year at Uni and I can honestly say that at the present I feel as if this might be what I was searching for, a new beginning and a positive development of the mind.
The course "New Communication Technologies" to be frank along with all my University study currently seems immensely new. So far, the lectures have been well informing of the basics and overall introduction into the area.
This particular course of Communication studies can be perceived as relevant to my everyday life as todays society is revolved around Technology and inparticular Communicating to your world in a number of different ways. In turn this course can be vastly useful towards developing and improving personal knowledge and furthermore relate it to my Journalism studies.
The fact is that I am in my first year of the Bachelor of Journalism at Griffith Uni. The contemporary journalists essential skill to survive is to be able to communicate with his work-based tasks, namely to gather information from differnet sources, interviews etc. The field I hope to succeed in is Sports(Football) journalism, vital to my goal is to expand to the maximum in terms of my overall skills to Communicate more effectively using new and as a whole innovative techniques.
